Tender Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 4, 2026
Tender is a guided reflection and journaling app inspired by parts work. This policy describes the data Tender uses to provide account-based sessions, voice features, summaries, parts mapping, and subscription access.
Information Tender Processes
- Account identifiers from sign-in providers, such as Apple or Google identifiers, email address, display name, and optional profile details.
- Session content you provide, including chat messages, voice transcripts, session summaries, journal history, part names, part notes, and related app settings.
- Voice-session audio when you choose voice features. Audio may be sent to speech, transcription, realtime, and text-to-speech providers to run the session.
- Subscription and entitlement metadata from Apple StoreKit, including product identifiers, transaction identifiers, status, renewal state, and expiration dates.
- Operational metadata such as usage counters, backend requests, error logs, and generated audio URLs used to run, secure, and debug Tender.
How Tender Uses Information
- To authenticate your account and restore your saved sessions.
- To provide guided reflection sessions, summaries, transcripts, parts maps, and journal views.
- To process subscriptions, enforce paid access, and prevent duplicate or unauthorized access.
- To improve reliability, debug failures, and protect the service from abuse.
Service Providers
Tender may use infrastructure and AI service providers for hosting, authentication, speech recognition, realtime voice transport, text generation, text-to-speech, and subscription verification. These providers process data only as needed to operate Tender features.
Retention
Account-linked sessions, transcripts, summaries, parts, and entitlement records are retained so your Tender history can be restored across devices. Operational logs and generated media are retained only as needed for service reliability and debugging. When you delete your account in Tender settings, Tender deletes your account-linked sessions, transcripts, summaries, parts, journal entries, sign-in records, usage records, and saved entitlement records from Tender's backend.
Your Choices
You can sign out or delete your account from Tender settings at any time. Deleting your Tender account does not cancel an active App Store subscription; for subscription changes or cancellation, use Apple subscription management.
Important Note
Tender is not a crisis, emergency, medical, mental health, or therapy service. Do not use Tender as a substitute for professional care or emergency support.
